The VPX-240-R32 two-stage vacuum pump is a compact and lightweight unit (<8 kg), designed for all refrigeration system applications.
Its spark-free design makes it fully compatible with A2L gases. With a 1/3 hp DC brushless low-speed motor, it delivers powerful performance while ensuring durability.
For ease of use, the pump includes a built-in vacuum gauge, solenoid valve, and an anti-tip oil technology.

VPX pumps feature a brushless DC motor. These motors, equipped with permanent magnets, offer a much higher power-to-weight ratio compared to traditional AC motors. This is the main reason for the low weight and compactness of VPX pumps.
The internal part of the oil casing is designed to retain the oil when the pump is tilted up to 90° on either side. This technology is very practical during transport, especially if the vacuum pump tips over in a truck.
The solenoid valve maintains the vacuum when the pump is stopped, for example in the event of a power outage on-site. It also prevents oil from migrating from the pump into the system at the end of the evacuation process.
No, VPX pumps are compatible with A1 and A2L refrigerants (mildly flammable, e.g., R32) but not with A3 refrigerants. Flammable refrigerants require ATEX-compliant equipment, such as the LINSTRUMENT HVP-260-EX vacuum pump.
